Please join us on Saturday, March 15, 2025, for our annual Care Net of Puget Sound Fundraiser, Light & Life Lunch or Dinner.
From life-saving medical services to gospel-centered support, we’re empowering and equipping our communities to choose life physically and eternally – one woman, one baby, one man, one family at a time.
Through heartfelt testimonies and inspiring stories, you’ll see how offering women hope through life-affirming, compassionate care is changing and saving lives in the Puget Sound.
And just this year, we are expanding our Light & Life Fundraiser from one dinner to a lunch event and dinner event, both on March 15th at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center! This way, you can choose to attend the event that best works for you.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you all God has done and step into the future, trusting that together we can save even more lives by offering life-changing hope.

Be a part of Life-Changing Work happening in the Puget Sound
Care Net of Puget Sound is a life-affirming ministry providing compassionate care, hope and support to women and families in our communities since 1982. Through 8 locations throughout the Puget Sound and numerous programs, Care Net of Puget Sound provides free, compassionate support to thousands of people every year. Last year alone, Care Net served over 14,400 individuals.
Every dollar raised at Light & Life will provide life-saving medical services and gospel-centered support to women and families facing unplanned or unsupported pregnancies in our communities.
Attending with a Group
If you want to attend with a group and invite friends, family, your small group or other community members to join you at the lunch or dinner, consider selecting, “Individual Table Sponsorship” while getting your tickets. Each table seats 10 people and your table sponsorship covers the cost of each person’s meal and ticket. This allows your guests to focus on giving generously during the event, ensuring every dollar goes directly to providing life-affirming care!
Become a Sponsor!
We need your help to make this lunch and dinner a success. If you’re looking for a chance to support life-affirming ministry and help every dollar raised at Light & Life to go directly to our programs and services, consider becoming an event sponsor!
Sponsorship opportunities range from $500-$30,000.
To discuss sponsorship opportunities, please contact Ben at 253–797-2020 bedwards@carenetps.org or Jennifer at 253-732-6930 jhigh@carenetps.org .
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What are the parking options?
We recommend arriving early to secure your spot!
Parking can be found in Lots A, D, E at The Greater Tacoma Convention Center. 9 ADA spaces in Lot A; availability not guaranteed. The maximum clearance allowance in any lot is 6 feet 8 inches! To make parking easier, you can download and register your vehicle in the Flowbird App before arriving and validate online or pay at a kiosk onsite. If using a kiosk, be sure to have your license plate number handy. You will select option 1, enter your vehicle plate #, choose duration, and confirm payment (Visa or Mastercard). A receipt will be printed, and this is only for your records, no need to display in your car.
An alternative option for parking is to utilize the free parking in the East Parking Garage across from Freighthouse Square on E 25th Street. For a $4 roundtrip fee & less than a 10-minute commute, take the Link Light Rail from the Tacoma Dome Station to the Convention Center Station. Just a short walk to our event! Schedules and planning can be found here.

We gladly accept various non-cash gifts that can significantly support our mission. Here’s how you can give:

- IRA or Donor-Advised Funds (DAF): If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA. You can also recommend a grant from your DAF to support our work.
- Real Estate: We accept donations of residential, commercial, or undeveloped properties, pending review. These gifts can have a lasting impact while offering you potential tax advantages.
- Legacy Gifts: By including us in your will or estate plan, designating us as a life insurance beneficiary, or allocating retirement account funds, you create a legacy that aligns with your values and continues supporting our mission.
Most non-cash gifts are tax-deductible, and we’ll provide a receipt for your records. To discuss your gift or start the process, please contact Jennifer High at jhigh@carenetps.org or 253.383.6033. Thank you for considering these impactful ways to support our organization!
