The Harvest is Plentiful: Ministry Opportunities at Care Net

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” — Matthew 9:36-38 (ESV)

Where is the Harvest?

It’s easy to read Jesus’ words and remember missionaries we pray for in foreign lands. However, there is meaningful and eternal work to do in our own communities.

Pro-life work is one such field where the Lord sends his laborers. As a growing ministry devoted to saving and redeeming lives, Care Net of Puget Sound is looking for more laborers to fill positions in centers, programs, and administration.

Opportunities at Care Net vary in time commitment and location; from medical to administrative work, there is a wide range of possibilities.

How to Get Involved?

If you feel called to serve in part-time or full-time ministry and are passionate for the cause of life, please review our open staff positions.

Do you have just a few hours each week to promote life? Volunteers provide many of the services that directly benefit clients in centers, on helpline from home, in center boutiques, and more. If you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities, please fill out a volunteer application, or join us for a Care Net 101 seminar.

As a Christian ministry, Care Net is committed to upholding biblical truth and principles. All potential volunteers and candidates for employment must have a close walk with Jesus, a deep reverence for His word and a commitment to personal spiritual growth. You may review Care Net’s statement of faith here.
