Offering Free Pregnancy Help for over 40 years, Care Net of Puget Sound has been recognized as Best Christian Workplace.
An update from Executive Director Dave Mitchell
At Care Net of Puget Sound, we are passionate about the work we get to do to bring life-affirming care and free pregnancy help to women and families in our communities through the hope of Jesus Christ.
It’s what drives us in our ministry work – whether that be offering unplanned pregnancy help in one of our pregnancy resource centers, providing relationship education in a local school, or offering men and women hope and healing after a past abortion.
We believe it matters not just what we do but how we do it, and that the same care we show to our clients on a day-to-day basis should permeate every aspect of this ministry – including how we engage with our brothers and sisters in Christ who serve as staff and volunteers.
Support for Life Built on a Firm Foundation
When I joined Care Net of Puget Sound, it was obvious that a firm, ministry foundation had been laid before me by countless women and men who had served and continue to serve God here. This was a ministry dedicated to prayer, love for God, love for women, families and the unborn, and love for the gospel – and still is today!
It was also obvious that the staff were passionate about this work and felt God’s calling on their lives to serve here. Last year, in a desire to strengthen this ministry for God’s glory and analyze this ministry’s health with objective metrics, we participated in Best Christian Workplace’s certification process, and were certified as a Best Christian Workplace!
Today, I’m excited to announce, that for the second year in a row, we have received that same certification as a Best Christian Workplace for 2023! In fact, our results were the highest among all organizations in their Family Services Sector.
We celebrate God’s work at Care Net of Puget Sound and how His work is reflected in the results of this survey of our team members who are committed to our mission to support life.
We know the health of this ministry is no accident. We believe it’s the direct result of the prayers and investments of thousands of people to bring physical and eternal life to our communities. We believe it’s a gift from God as we humbly continue to keep this a Christ-centered ministry, share the truth in love with our clients about physical and eternal life, and be His hands and feet to women in need of unplanned pregnancy help.
To everyone who supports, donates to, volunteers, prays and serves at this ministry, I want to thank you for being a part of this work.
We know there is much to be done to support life and bring the gospel to our communities, and confidently trust that God is going to continue his work through his people – one woman, one baby, one family, one gospel decision at a time.

We are currently looking for team members to be a part of this mission to offer free pregnancy help to women and families in the Puget Sound area. As a fast-growing, Christ-centered, non-profit ministry, we have about 50 employees, 450 active volunteers and over 500 supporting churches connected to this ministry.
