When “Tasha” visited our Care Net of Puget Sound clinic, she was faced with a difficult decision and felt isolated and fearful. With abortion seeming like her only option, she was overwhelmed by the thought of an unsupported pregnancy.
Our dedicated client advocate provided a compassionate space for Tasha to share her concerns. During their conversation, Tasha opened up about a previous abortion she had undergone, a painful experience that weighed heavily on her. We introduced her to our post-abortive support program (Healing Tide), offering a path to healing and hope.
Tasha also expressed her worries about her current pregnancy and why she was considering abortion. We informed her about the extensive resources available through our clinic, including adoption information, parenting support, and practical assistance—all at no cost. Our goal was to ensure Tasha knew she had support and options beyond abortion.
Although she left our clinic unsure, she left with the assurance that we were there for her and her unborn child. Our team continued to pray for her and her situation.

Then came the joyous news: Tasha chose life!
With our support, Tasha explored the adoption referrals we provided and began meeting potential adoptive families. She is now creating a loving adoption plan for her baby.
