Over the past few months, abortion has become one of the most heated, controversial issues in America. Because of our work as a life-affirming pregnancy center, Care Net of Puget Sound has ended up involved in these controversies.
Sadly, many mistruths have been spoken about our ministry.
We’ve been labeled “fake clinics” despite the fact that our clinics are registered healthcare facilities staffed with almost 30 medical professionals providing quality care at no cost to women.
We’ve been accused of trying to trick or manipulate women despite the fact that we are open and honest in all our advertising and client communications about the services we do or do not provide.
We’ve been accused of failing to protect client confidentiality, despite the fact that we are HIPAA compliant in all our practices and systems so that every woman who walks into one of our clinics can know her information is safe.
We want to share the truth – not out of anger, self-promotion or as part of a political agenda, but because the women and families of our communities need our support.
We’re launching a campaign called “Share Truth” to help people:
- Better understand the work of Care Net
- See the positive impact this ministry has in our communities
- And feel equipped to share this truth with others!
We believe this moment in history is an opportunity for Christians to provide life-affirming care and support to vulnerable women and families in bigger ways than ever before.
Together, by sharing the truth in love and offering hope to women and families in need we can bring a culture of life to our communities!
