Q: Are pets allowed at the event?

Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome to join the Walk for Life. Please ensure you clean up after your pet and consider whether your dog is comfortable in large crowds.

Q: Will there be medical assistance available?

We will have a space dedicated to first-aid and a team ready to help in any emergencies. Participants are advised to consult with their physician before the event, especially if they have any health concerns.

Q: Where should I park on event day?

Designated parking areas will be available near the event venue. Detailed parking information, including maps and any shuttle services, will be provided closer to the event date on our website.

What is the PNW Walk for Life?

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, Care Net of Puget Sound will host our second annual PNW Walk for Life! The PNW Walk for Life is more than a walk, it’s a powerful movement to affirm the value of human life and make a real difference in the lives of women and families in our communities.

By participating, raising funds, or sponsoring a walker, you are directly providing life-affirming care and the hope of Jesus Christ through the work of Care Net of Puget Sound for women and families in your community. This year, walkers will join us at Fort Steilacoom Park, with check-in opening at 8:00 a.m. and the walk kicking off at 9:30 a.m.

Is there a registration fee to participate?

Registration is free with the option to purchase a t-shirt at registration for $20.

As this is a fundraising event, we encourage everyone to sign up as a sponsored walker, meaning while registration is free, you’ll go to your network of friends and family to sponsor you as you Walk for Life! Don’t worry. We provide all the tools you need!
