Join our Work: 3 Ways to Support Life at Care Net of Puget Sound

Support Life by Getting Involved at Care Net of Puget Sound

In a post-Roe Washington State, providing life-affirming, free pregnancy help to women facing unplanned pregnancies is more important than ever before. From April 2022 to March 2023, Washington State has seen a reported 16.5% increase in abortions each month. As surrounding states pass legislation limiting abortion access and leaders in Washington continue to try to build a sanctuary for abortion in our state, we know more and more women will continue to come to Washington State in desperate need of life-affirming, free pregnancy help.

You can be a part of offering these women the support they need to choose life by investing your time, talent and treasure in Care Net of Puget Sound. As one of the best pro life charities to donate to in King and Pierce County, Care Net of Puget Sound continues to provide hope and unplanned pregnancy help to women considering abortion in our communities.

If you want to support life and support women facing unplanned pregnancies, here are 3 ways to get involved:

Pray

We firmly believe God is the one who is ultimately at work and changing hearts and saving lives from abortion. You can support life by committing to praying with us by joining our prayer team here. You can commit to praying with us on a monthly, weekly or as-needed basis in the sign-up form.

Join Our Team

As a volunteer-led ministry with over 450 individuals actively serving across our centers and program services, our volunteers make this work possible by serving behind-the-scenes or directly with clients.

 Volunteers serve as:

  • Client advocates, meeting with clients in pregnancy consultations, offering them hope, education and practical resources;
  • Parenting mentors, providing support to women, men and/or couples as they navigate the challenges of parenting;
  • Medical volunteers (RNs, RDMS, PAs, MDs, NPs) performing life-changing ultrasounds or STD clinics in centers;
  • Healing Tide leaders, offering hope and healing to women, men and couples after abortion.

You can learn more about volunteering in one of our programs or pregnancy resource centers by filling out an interest form here. We’ll answer your questions and help you get connected to an area of Care Net where your talents make an eternal difference and support life.
